ROBERT McCARTHY
(Irish Bob)—
Bob was born in Dublin and moved to London where he attended school. At age 22 he traveled around Europe for a year before settling in Sweden, where he lived for over 20 years. He started tending bar in 1989. In 2003 he moved to Philadelphia.

Before opening Amistad here on the Costa del Sol, he was bartending in Philadelphia at Skinners, a popular “local” bar with a solid selection of craft beers on tap and managing The Five Spot, a legendary night club in Old City with two floors and five bars, as well as The Griffin, a European style café.

DANIEL SCANNELL—
Daniel is an American who grew up in hotels all around the US, as his father was a hotel consultant. His family eventually settled in Pennsylvania and he attended University in Philadelphia.

He has traveled, worked and lived abroad through his life, trying to absorb different cultures and cuisines. He has worked as a Chinese chef in Dublin, a French cook in England and a hotel chef in Philadelphia. He comes to the Costa del Sol after living two and a half years in Korea.

JEONG BAE—
Jeong is an artist by trade. She grew up in the rural countryside of Southwest Korea and later moved to Seoul where she worked as a graphic designer and fine artist.

She claims to be from outer space.
